Donations

There are three ways to make a fiscal donation to ReString Appalachia:
  1. Sponsor a child’s playing time
  2. Attend Hope Twinkles on November 23 and donate in person; cash, or check made out to ReString Appalachia, note Hope Twinkles in the memo
  3. Donate directly to ReString Appalachia via their online portal, and note Hope Twinkles

ReString also accepts donations of instruments, with some limitations.  See their site for more details

Sponsor a Child

Hope Twinkles took a page from the American Heart Association’s long-standing (long-jumping?) Jump-Rope-for-Heart program in schools.  Students seek sponsors to donate a certain amount for each skipping-rope-minute they do in a period of time.  For Hope Twinkles, that’s a donation for every 15 minutes of playing a child does.  (Younger students get sponsors for every 5 minutes of playing.)

Our Hope Twinkles students are excited about playing!  If you’d like to sponsor a child, but don’t know one personally, contact us.

Download the form below to sponsor or donate directly to Hope Twinkles.

Angel Donors

Every year for Hope Twinkles, anonymous donors have given substantial sums of money by sponsoring the combined student playing hours during Hope Twinkles.

You could be an angel donor. . . .

An Angel Donor believes in the mission of Hope Twinkles and the generous hearts of the student players, and supports these in extraordinary ways.

If you’d like to quietly, or publicly, reward the beautiful hard work of the Hope Twinkles players, or if you’d like to provide a matching funds challenge, please contact Hope Twinkles director Ellen Francisco.
